Good Samaritans Work Together to Save Dog Being Swept Away in Texas Flood Waters Video:

It isn't just humans that need saving from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. People have been risking their lives to save animals stranded in need. In one instance, a dog was shivering on top of the roof of an SUV as it was surrounded by water. There was nowhere for him to go. A group of rescuers on a boat came to save the dog, which snarled at them initially because he did not realize they were there to help him. Finally, they were able to get him into the boat and bring him to safety.
