Shawn Colvin On Her Album, "The Starlighter" Video:

Join Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Shawn Colvin as she celebrates her new album "The Starlighter," which releases February 23rd 2018 on Amazon Music. It's an album of lullabies inspired by a book that Colvin was given when she was 8 years-old called "Lullabies and Night Songs" which features arrangements by famed 20th century composer Alec Wilder and illustrations by Maurice Sendak ("Where The Wild Things Are"). First released in 1965, the book is now out of print and hard to come by but has left a lasting impression on Colvin to this day. "The Starlighter" is also a follow up to her 1998 album "Holiday Songs and Lullabies," which also included some songs from this treasured book. Colvin shared this personal work with us on the BUILD stage.
