"Seven Seconds" is the forthcoming crime drama that comes from "Killing" creator Veena Sud. Clare-Hope Ashitey stars as K.J. Harper, an assistant prosecutor in New Jersey caught up in a tragic case where Caucasian police officers in Jersey City critically injury a young African-American boy. The cast includes two-time Emmy winner Regina King, David Lyons, Michael Mosley, Russell Hornsby, Raul Castillo and Beau Knapp. Ashitey is best known across the pond for starring in the British police procedural "Suspects" as well as her role in Alfonso Cuarón’s "Children of Men."
