Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb Hug Following Matt Lauer’s Firing From ‘Today’ Video:

A shaken Savannah Guthrie fought back tears as she broke the stunning news that Matt Lauer was fired from NBC’s ‘Today’ for inappropriate sexual behavior. She grasped co-host Hoda Kotb's hand for support. The usually jovial weatherman Al Roker was also visibly rattled by the firing. During commercial breaks, Savannah and Hoda were photographed through the studio windows consoling each other. They only found out that Lauer had been fired moments before they went on the air.
