Fact: 500 million plastic straws are used every day in the United States alone. If we don’t change our habits now, by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in our ocean. Adrian Grenier ("Entourage") and his Lonely Whale Foundation are working to combat plastic pollution. Throughout the month of September, Seattle residents are encouraged to join Adrian Grenier’s entourage as his nonprofit organization Lonely Whale Foundation launches Strawless in Seattle throughout the city. The month-long series is part of Lonely Whale Foundation’s Strawless Ocean global initiative, which aims to remove 500 million plastic straws from the U.S. waste stream in 2017.
