Civia Tamarkin & Luchina Fisher Speak On "Birthright: A War Story" Video:

Directed by Civia Tamarkin,"Birthright: A War Story" examines how women are being jailed, physically violated and put at risk of dying as a radical movement tightens its grip across the country. Featured are the stories of real women who have become collateral damage in the aggressive campaign to take control of reproductive health care and to allow states, courts and religious doctrine to govern when and how women bear children. It isn’t just abortion that is obstructed or denied, it’s also access to proper medical care in the case of miscarriages and pregnancies that threaten the woman’s life. Join director Tamarkin and film co-writer Luchina Fisher as they discuss their film.
