Octavia Spencer On Playing God In ‘The Shack’: ‘I See It As A Little Healing’ Video:

New York City's Museum of Modern Art held the premiere for the upcoming film, ‘The Shack,’ the story of a grief-stricken dad coping with the death of his daughter. In the film, Oscar winner Octavia Spencer plays God. She says the film presents a message of inspiration and faith. “I see it as a little healing and a little hope," she said. The film is based on the best-selling book written by William Paul Young, who said he originally wrote the story as a Christmas gift for his six kids.
