Broadway icon Bernadette Peters, who was a long-time friend of Mary Tyler Moore, attended the late actress’s funeral, along with around 50 of Moore’s family and friends, according to reports. The television legend was laid to rest in a small, private ceremony Sunday at Oak lawn Cemetery in Connecticut. According to the local newspaper, the brief service took place in a white chapel on the property and Moore was later interred at a grave adorned with an angel statue.
