‘A Dog’s Purpose’ Opens In Theaters Amid Protests Against Film 2 Video:

The Dennis Quaid film “A Dog’s Purpose,” based on a book of the same name, is now the target of protests on its opening day after a disturbing clip of a seemingly terrified German shepherd during filming appeared on TMZ. Before the video surfaced, it was estimated the movie would make $25 million on its opening weekend. The protests, organized by PETA, kicked off Friday around the country as the flick hits theaters.
