The cult classic film and Broadway production Hairspray is coming to the small screen next month on NBC. Hairspray tells the story of young Tracy Turnblad, a teenager who just wants to dance on a local TV program. The Universal Studios backlot has been transformed to look like 1960's Baltimore set and features Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson as Motormouth Mabel. Hudson told Inside Edition how she is preparing for the live performance. Hairspray Live airs Wednesday, December 7 on NBC.
