Alex Wolff, Stefania Owen And James Sadwith Discuss Their Film, "Coming Through The Rye" Video:

Inspired by the filmmaker James Sadwith’s own true story, the film - set in 1969 - follows a 16 yr. old Jamie Schwartz (Alex Wolff) who is an outcast at his new boarding school. He finds solace in J.D. Salinger’s "The Catcher In The Rye" and deeply identifies with the iconic protagonist, Holden Caulfield. Believing he is destined to play the character, he decides to adapt the novel into a play but not before seeking approval from Salinger himself. He runs away with a local girl (Stefania Owen) to search for the reclusive author, (Academy Award Winner, Chris Cooper). Interview at AOL HQ in NYC for BUILD Series.
