A combination documentary and cooking show, each episode follows Howard as she takes us to her farm in small town Eastern North Carolina where she explores the ingredients used in Southern Cuisine. With a dash of business and a pinch of family life, the series illustrates what it takes to be a successful modern chef. Howard also has a new cookbook, "Deep Run Roots- Stories & Recipes from My Corner of the South," which will be released on October 4.
