Tom Hanks Sends White House Reporters Gift To 'Keep Up the Good Fight'
Reuters White House reporter Steve Holland shared the surprise from Hanks on Thursday alongside a letter from the actor. "Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially the truth part," read the note with Bill Mauldin's infamous World War II drawing, which depicted the reality of war compared with how it was reported in the country. Tom Hanks has sent White House reporters a $2,000 coffee maker to reiterate his belief in a free press.
