Tom Cruise Reveals 'Mission: Impossible 6' Title and Latest Stunt

Tom Cruise has revealed the title of Mission: Impossible 6 will be 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout'.

"Get ready," he teased as he shared a photo of his latest stunt on social media.

Cruise was hanging off a helicopter in the stunt he promised would top hanging off a plane as it took off in 'Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation'.

"We've upped the ante for the sixth Mission Impossible," he wrote. "I can't wait for you guys to see more."

"The title has multiple meanings in the film, from the literal to the figurative," Christopher McQuarrie told Empire in a recent interview.

"There is the threat of nuclear terrorism hanging over the movie, which is the literal threat. There's the notion that what's happened in the movie is the end result of choices that Ethan Hunt has made in his life."

"It's Ethan's past come back to haunt him. It's the fallout of all his good intentions."

'Mission: Impossible – Fallout' will be released this summer on July 27, 2018.
