Superman's 'Bulge' Worries Studio Bosses

The new Superman is causing concern among movie bosses because of the size of his bulge.

A newspaper reports the studio fears Brandon Routh's profile in the superhero's skintight costume could be distracting for viewers and Warner Bros. has ordered director Bryan Singer to digitally cover up the bulge in actor Brandon Routh's Superman briefs.

The paper's source says "It's a major issue for the studio. Brandon is extremely well endowed and they don't want it up on the big screen".

"We may be forced to erase his package with digital effects", they said.

Brandon Routh has taken over the legendary superhero's cape from the late Christopher Reeve. The movie titled 'Superman Returns' also stars Kate Bosworth (photosKate Bosworth photos) as Lois Lane and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and is set to be released June 30, 2006.
