Spike TV Debuts Trailer For 'I Am Heath Ledger' Documentary
'I Am Heath Ledger' features never-before-seen footage of the late actor, who died from an accidental mixture of prescription drugs at the age of 28. He would've celebrated his 38th birthday this week. The documentary mixes footage with interviews from those close to Ledger, including his sister Kate Ledger, musician friend Ben Harper, former girlfriend Christina Cauchi and director Ang Lee. It will also include behind-the scenes footage of the filming of 'The Dark Knight' and the role as The Joker that won Heath Ledger his posthumous Oscar. Harper calls Ledger "the most alive human." "If it wasn't the edge, it didn't interest him," he says. 'I Am Heath Ledger' will air on May 17 at 10 PM on Spike TV. Spike TV has debuted a rather beautiful first trailer for its Heath Ledger documentary.
