Skit From NBC Tribute Features Ted Danson, Sean Hayes, Jim Parsons & Sheen
The tribute honored the legendary sitcom director who's helmed 1,000 episodes of television over his career, including 'Cheers', 'Friends', 'The Big Bang Theory' and every episode of 'Will & Grace'. So it was only fitting that 'Will & Grace' star Sean Hayes had a big role in the tribute and it began with this opening skit. The skit also featured a number of other stars including co-star Eric McCormack, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman and Charlie Sheen. As for the 'Friends' stars reuniting, Matthew Perry appeared in a taped message (as expected) at the start of the segment, explaining that he couldn't make the show due to his play. David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston (photos NBC's All-Star Tribute to James Burrows, which was also promoted as a 'Friends' reunion, aired on Sunday night.
), Courteney Cox, and Matt LeBlanc reminisced about the show, a few memorable episodes and the girls eating "Jennifer salad" for lunch each day for ten years.
