Kristen Bell: 'I'm Not A Woman Whose Self-Worth Comes From Her Dress Size'

Kristen Bell (photosKristen Bell photos), who gave birth to her daughter four months ago, says she's in no hurry to shed any remaining baby weight.

"I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse," she tells 'Redbook' magazine. "I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size."

But the 32-year-old Bell, who gained 43 pounds during pregnancy, admits it wasn't easy to get into the mindset.

"Look, I'm like any other woman. All this evolved B.S. that I'm telling you is my mantra: It's not something I practice naturally."

"I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that's just part of the journey of having a baby."

Bell, who is currently filming the 'Veronica Mars' movie, says that has also meant she feels guilty about going to work.

"I can't look at her pictures today, because it hurts my feelings. I start wondering what she's thinking, like, 'Where's the girl with the blonde hair and the boobs?'"

"I still want a career," she says. "Lincoln will always be No. 1, but I think if you can cut that cord of obsessiveness, then you can work and be a good mother and wife."
