Kelly Ripa Reportedly Receives Apology From ABC Executives
This after the network blindsided Ripa by scooping up 'Live' co-host Michael Strahan for 'Good Morning America'. According to CNN, the executives "expressed regret for the way Kelly was told the news." The personal apology was conveyed by Ben Sherwood, the president of the Disney-ABC Television Group. Ripa returns to 'Live' Tuesday, her first show since Strahan announced his impending departure. In an email to the show's staff, Ripa said: "I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information... Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me.
