Jose Canseco May Sell Reattached Finger That Fell Off During Poker Game

Jose Canseco says he may "soon" attempt to sell the middle finger he accidentally shot off while cleaning a gun at his Las Vegas home.

The finger was surgically re-attached but it fell off last week during a poker game.

Canseco said "I knew something crazy was going to happen with this damn finger cause it felt like it was falling off.. it should have been amputated from the beginning. It was very loose with no bone to connect it. It was also smelling really bad."

But the former Oakland Athletics outfielder, a six-time all-star with 462 career home runs, half jokingly says he'll sell the finger to a fan.

"I will soon put the finger that fell off in the poker tournament for sale," Canseco said. "The ad will read slightly used middle finger with 462 home runs could be used as a stirring straw for drinks."

"I bet a long time ago you could easily loose a finger a hand or even your life in a poker game if you couldn't pay up," Canseco said.
