John McCain's Spokesman Responds To Paris Hilton's Spoof Ad
"Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan," says McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds. In the presidential ad, which was a response to McCain's 'celebrity ad', Paris said her solution for the energy crisis was a hybird of the two candidates: "We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars." She referred to McCain as "that wrinkly, white-haired guy" who "used me in his campaign ad." Director Amy Rhodes said the video took a few hours to shoot at the house where Hilton was staying, and the socialite did it for free "because she decided she just wanted to do it for fun."
