'Glee's Mark Salling Indicted On Child Pornography Charges

'Glee' actor Mark Salling has been indicted on child pornography charges.

The 33-year-old has been charged with receiving and possessing child pornography allegedly on his laptop and a flash memory drive.

"Those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed," United States Attorney Eileen M. Decker says in a statement.

"Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed."

Salling, who played Puck on 'Glee', was arrested for possession of child pornography in December after the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a tip and obtained a warrant.

The task force reportedly found thousands of images of children "significantly younger than 15 or 16 years old."

If convicted, Salling could face a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years.
