ESPN's Dana Jacobson Suspended For Jesus Roast

ESPN has temporarily suspended sports announcer Dana Jacobson for her rant during the roast of two radio personalities. But she didn't stop there, instead of roasting just her colleagues, she also went after Jesus.

According to 'The Press of Atlantic City' paper, Jacobson was "swilling vodka", "cursing like a sailor" and made "an absolute fool of herself." She is reported to have said "F*** Notre Dame! F*** Notre Dame Touchdown Jesus! F*** Jesus!", on stage, all the while being booed by the audience.

She made the remarks during a January 11 roast for ESPN Radio personalities Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic.

Jacobson has now issued her own statement. "I am very sorry. My remarks about Notre Dame were foolish and insensitive," she said. "I respect all religions and did not mean anything derogatory by my poorly chosen words. I also deeply regret the embarrassment I have caused ESPN and Mike and Mike."

"My actions at the roast were inappropriate and in no way represent who I really am. I have personally apologized to many of the people involved. I won't make excuses for my behavior but do hope that I can be forgiven for such a poor lack of judgment."
