Ed McMahon Sues Los Angeles Hospital Over Injury

Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson's sidekick for thirty years on the 'Tonight Show', is suing a Los Angeles hospital claiming its doctors failed to diagnose his broken neck and let him go without even taking an X-ray.

The 85-year-old also accuses Cedars-Sinai Medical Center of malpractice, elder abuse, and rush treatment that made him feel "like a bobble head."

McMahon says the error meant he only learnt of the broken neck two weeks later when his doctor finally X-rayed him and discovered the problem.

It should be noted that McMahon isn't just suing Cedars, he also names billionaire Robert Day in the suit because the slip and fall apparently happened at Day's house, and blames him for being negligent over the condition of a ramp-staircase at his property.

You'll recall we reported back in June that Ed McMahon's home was in danger of foreclosure, so the timing of this suit for damages is rather interesting.
