Craig Signed For 'Casino Royale' Sequel
Not only that but it's reported that Craig has been signed to play James Bond until 2012. With an average gap of two years between films, that could mean Craig appears will play Bond in at least three movies after "Casino Royale". Although fans have voiced their displeasure with Craig being cast as Bond, director Martin Campbell has stood by his casting and says: "I am convinced that Craig is the best actor who has ever played James Bond". "We are already working on the sequel", said producer Barbara Broccoli. "We're in the early stages of that. It will be an original story but will continue part of what the story is in Casino Royale". With filming on his first Bond film still unfinished, producers are so sure Daniel Craig is going to be a hit, they've signed him for a second installment.
