Chaz Bono To Reportedly Compete on 'Dancing with the Stars'
The 41-year-old writer and activist, who underwent a gender-change operation in 2009, is said to have been spotted at a gym preparing for his debut on the ballroom dance competition. Chaz will be paired up with a female dancer. In the 1998 book 'Family Outing: A Guide to the Coming-Out Process for Gays, Lesbians, & Their Families', Bono said he knew she was "somehow different, specifically different from who my mom expected me to be." He talked about how Cher "went ballistic for a few days" and banished him from their Manhattan apartment although she later accepted it after seeing her "as a full person for the first time." ABC will officially reveal the lineup for this season's 'Dancing with the Stars' during Monday's episode of 'Bachelor Pad'.
