Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Denies She's Had '30 Lovers'

French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy denies she has had 30 lovers, despite referring to them in her recently released album.

In an interview with 'Paris Match', Bruni says the lyrics in her recently released an album in which she sings "I'm a child, in spite of my 40 years, in spite of my 30 lovers" were poetic license. When asked about her '30 lovers' she tells the publication: "It's for the rhyme. Thirty is better than 15! When I write a song, I don't recount my life precisely, but more the manner in which I see life."

"It's not that I had a lot of lovers. It's that I never hide them. It's a different thing. I have not one day of regret."

Bruni has been making the rounds to promote the her new album, 'Comme si de rien n'etait' (As if nothing had happened). Earlier this week she said that her husband, President Nicolas Sarkozy, wasn't upset when she told him about the nude photos she did during her modeling days, and instead asked if he could have a copy of one.
