Boy Band 'New Kids On The Block' To Make A Comeback

Move over 'Spice Girls', 'People' magazine reports boy band 'New Kids On The Block' is set to make a comeback.

Members of the group that enjoyed enormous success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, may now be in their late 30s but that isn't stopping them from getting back together.

The band's web site, nkotb.com, which had been dormant, is now back up and running in anticipation of the official announcement, which 'People' believes will be made in the next few weeks. The site currently features some photos of the group and a sign up form for fans.

The group went on to sell over 70 million albums worldwide in their heyday and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in concert revenues. Many believe they paved the way for the Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC.

Wondering what members of the band have been up to in the meantime? Jonathan Knight is a real estate developer, Donnie Wahlberg has forged a successful acting career, Joey McIntyre has been acting as well as recording, Danny Wood is a music producer while Jordan Knight has continued to record.
