Armless Pianist Liu Wei Wins 'China's Got Talent'

Liu Wei, the armless pianist we featured after his first performance in August, has been crowned the winner of 'China's Got Talent'.

Wei lost both his arms due to an accident when he was 10. But the 23-year-old didn't let that stop him from practicing his passion.

He performed 'Song From a Secret Garden' and his version of James Blunt's 'You're Beautiful' to a packed audience at the Shanghai Stadium for the finale.

For winning the show, Liu will be invited to play as a guest performer with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai and receive the chance for a performing contract.

Liu's arms were amputated after he suffered an electrical shock while playing hide-and-seek. Since then he's learnt to use his feet to use the computer, eat, dress, brush his teeth and play the piano.
