Zsa Zsa Gabor In 'Extremely Serious Condition'

Zsa Zsa Gabor's publicist says the actress is in "extremely serious condition" at a Los Angeles hospital and has received the last rites.

The actress, 93, was admitted to UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center to have two blood clots removed on Saturday, one of them very close to her heart.

Publicist John Blanchette said Sunday that he had spoken with Gabor's husband Frederic Von Anhalt, who had told him of her condition. He said the situation was "very sad."

She had broken her hip July 17, had hip replacement surgery and had just returned home from the hospital Wednesday.

The Hungarian-born actress was married nine times and is, in many ways, known more for her personal life than her acting career.

From the 1950s to 1980s, she made many television appearances on talk shows hosted by Johnny Carson, Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin and David Frost.
