Whitney Houston on 'Good Morning America' (Video)

Diane Sawyer welcomed Whitney Houston on 'Good Morning America' this morning but all didn't go according to plan as the singer's voice cracked during parts her performance.

Houston still gave fans an entertaining and energetic performance but the Grammy-winning singer felt so bad she apologized to the 5,000-odd crowd, and told them her recent slate of interviews was to blame for the hitch in her famous pipes.

"I'm so sorry," Houston told the Central Park crowd.

"I did 'Oprah.' I've been talking for so long. I talked so much, my voice. I shouldn't be talking. I should be singing," she said before she broke into her final number, 'I'm Every Woman.'"

The singer, who has battled drink and drug problems in recent years (insert crack joke here), was forced to cut her set short to just three songs.
