Vin Diesel Confirms New 'Fast and Furious' Trilogy and Release Dates

Vin Diesel has confirmed that there won't be just one but a trilogy of new 'Fast and Furious' films beginning in April 2017.

The franchise's star said the series would round out to an even ten after the three films planned for release on April 14, 2017, April 19, 2019, and April 2, 2021.

"I could not have asked for better partners than Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, & the Universal Studios Entertainment family," 'Straight Outta Compton' director F. Gary Gray, who will be helming the next film said in a statement.

"Together we are excited to bring you the next chapter in the Fast & Furious saga."

Diesel had previously said he hopes to "deliver one last trilogy to end the saga." Although judging by the never-ending franchise, we'll probably see the announcement of a new trilogy after this one ends.
