Usher's Stepson Declared Brain Dead After Jet Ski Accident
Kile, Usher's son with ex-wife Tameka Foster, was riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta with a 15-year-old girl when he was struck in the head by a passing jet ski. The driver of the other jet ski has been identified as family friend Jeffrey S. Hubbard, who is now under investigation. "Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them," says Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. "One minute the jet ski was running around, the next he ran over the top of them -- it happened that quickly. It appears the watercraft did strike both juveniles, with the male taking the brunt of the force." "The entire incident in question is under investigation, which includes Mr. Hubbard. We are not currently speculating on what charges might be filed." The second victim reportedly suffered a broken arm and cut on the head. Both children were flown to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Glover has not registered any brain activity since he was admitted. Usher's 11-year-old stepson, Kile Glover, has been declared brain dead after a jet ski accident.
