Tyra Banks To Teach Business Class At Stanford University

Tyra Banks is moving from reality TV to the classroom.

The former host of "America's Next Top Model" and "FABLife" will teach students at Stanford University next May.

During her two weeks as a guest lecturer, she will teach students about creating, launching and maintaining a personal brand.

She will instruct around 25 students on how to use both traditional and social media to communicate their strengths and how to be a business leader.

According to the course description for 'Project You: Building and Extending Your Personal Brand', the class will ultimately share their "honed personal brand."

Banks told The Wall Street Journal that she plans to be a no-nonsense professor.

"If I see somebody not paying attention, I'm gonna call on them," she said.

"But I'm beyond excited to teach. It's in my blood and I can't wait to meet my students."

Banks will also return to television in NBC's business competition series 'Funded'.
