Tom Hardy To Reporter Asking About His Sexuality: 'What on Earth Are You On About?'

Tom Hardy slammed a reporter for asking about his sexuality during a conference for his movie 'Legend' at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Graeme Coleman, a writer for an LGBT organization, asked his question midway through the event, saying: "In the film, your character Ronnie is very open about his sexuality. But given interviews you've done in the past your own sexuality seems a bit more ambiguous."

"Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?"

"What on earth are you on about?," Hardy said.

"I was referring to an interview you gave to Attitude magazine a few years ago," replied Coleman. In the interview, Hardy implied that he had experienced relationships with men and "played with everything and everyone."

"But what is your question?," Hardy asked. "I don't find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality. Are you asking me about my sexuality?"

When Coleman hesitantly replied "Umm, sure."

"Why?," Hardy asked before putting and end to it with "Thank you."

The British actor married Charlotte Riley last year and is expecting his first child with her.
