Tom Brady Says Wife Gisele Bundchen Has Told Him To Shutup About Politics
The New England Patriots quarterback told reporters on Thursday that he wouldn't be commenting on Donald Trump or the election results. "Why did I give him permission? You're assuming I gave him permission?," Brady responded when asked if he let Trump publicize his support. "I'm just gonna talk about football this week." Asked if he had indeed voted for Trump, Brady said: "I talked to my wife and she said I can't talk about politics anymore." "And I think that's a good decision made for our family." Trump had claimed Brady called to let him know he voted for him. "Tom Brady, great guy, great friend of mine, great champion, unbelievable winner," Trump said a few days ago. "He called today and he said, 'Donald, I support you, you're my friend, and I voted for you.'" Brady had said Trump was a "good friend" who he had known for a long time and he strived to "support all my friends."
