TLC Announces 'Little People, Big World' To End After Six Seasons

TLC has announced that the sixth season of 'Little People, Big World' will be the series' last.

"Through Little People, Big World the Roloffs have touched the hearts and enlightened the minds of millions of people worldwide," says Eileen O'Neill, TLC's President.

"It's groundbreaking premiere introduced us all to the realities of being a little person, and we thank Matt and Amy and their family for their courage and willingness to share their lives."

"Over the past five years we have shared the most rewarding journey that will forever be in our hearts," Matt and Amy Roloff say in a statement. "We are gearing up to begin new and exciting adventures as a family and we look forward to starting the next chapter of the Roloffs."

The show, which follows the lives of the couple and their four kids, debuted in 2006. The previous season ended with Matt collapsed in his office.

That's where the season will start off and focus on Matt and Amy becoming more health conscious as twins Zach and Jeremy try to make significant life choices following their 20th birthdays.

The 18-episode final season of the series will premiere on September 6.
