'Suicide Squad' Tops But Drops Big, 'Sausage Party' Bests 'Pete's Dragon'

Despite a massive 67 percent drop in its second week, 'Suicide Squad' remained in top spot at the weekend box office.

The Warner Bros and DC film took in an estimated $43.7 million, compared to the record breaking $133.7 million in its debut.

However, the weekend's surprise was R-rated animated comedy 'Sausage Party' which handily topped Disney's 'Pete's Dragon'.

It took in $33.6 million for second place while 'Dragon' earned $21.5 million.
