Sofia Vergara Tries To Say 'Discombobulated' and Tells Story From Nude Shoot
"OK, I know English very well," insisted Vergara. DeGeneres tried to stump the 'Modern Family' actress with the word "flabbergasted." However, it wasn't until "discombobulated" that Vergara found herself tongue-tied. "It's because I'm nervous! It's not even a word. You're just trying to ruin my reputation," she joked. Ellen DeGeneres attempted to teach Sofía Vergara her English Word of the Day: Discombobulated.
Vergara also talked about the challenges of posing naked at 45 for Women's Health and the perfect way to do it.
"So the magazine sent these pictures of these beautiful, tiny, long models that covered their whole body with their arm,"” Vergara said. "And I'm trying these poses, and first of all, I do this and one boob is here, and the other one is here. So there was no covering anything with this stupid arm."
"I was just trying to be creative, I was trying to be practical and solve the problem," she explained. "But then I said to them, 'It's impossible — we can't do that. We have to figure out a way to look decent, not pornographic.'"
"It's an arm and a hand and a very weird angle," she said of the right combination. "Then you're shaking, but you have to smile and look sexy. It takes a long time."
