Shia LaBeouf Spends 24 Hours In An Elevator, Slaps Fan In Performance Art Stunt

Shia LaBeouf may have fallen asleep attempting to marathon all his own movies at a New York theater, but the actor isn't letting that stop him from spending 24 hours in an elevator.

The 'Transformers' star invited people to attend the stunt in an elevator in England's Oxford University student union building and chat with him.

"Visitors are invited to address the artists and the Internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address," he said in a statement.

It wrapped up over the weekend as LaBeouf give a talk at Oxford Union.

But it didn't finish without incident as the actor slapped a fan during the 24 hours. To be fair, it was at the student's request.

"Can you help me with the completion of my next piece by punching me in the face?," he asked.

LaBeouf initially said he couldn't but finally opted for a slap instead of a punch after he was egged on: "Do it. Don't be a pu**y."

"I'll do it to myself but I don't like doing it to you, dude. I just met you," LaBeouf tried to explain before giving in to the request.
