Shia LaBeouf Arrested For Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness

One-time 'Transformers' star Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Savannah, Georgia early Saturday morning and booked for disorderly conduct, obstruction and public drunkenness.

The actor reportedly lashed out after he asked a bystander for a cigarette and didn't get one.

"When he wasn't given a cigarette, he became disorderly, using profanities and vulgar language in front of the women and children present," police said in a statement. "He was told to leave the area and refused, becoming aggressive toward the officer."

"When the officer attempted to place LaBeouf under arrest, he ran to a nearby hotel. He was arrested in the hotel lobby, where his disorderly behavior continued."

In an interview last September, LaBeouf admitted he had a drinking problem.

"Alcohol or any of that s--t will send you haywire," he told Variety. "I can't f--k with none of it. I've got to keep my head low. I got a Napoleonic complex. I start drinking and I feel smaller than I am, and I get louder than I should. It's just not for me, dude."

The actor was released from jail after posting a $7,000 bond. He was the state filming 'The Peanut Butter Falcon', which also stars Dakota Johnson.
