Schwarzenegger Sells Bodybuilding Drama 'Pump' To Showtime

Arnold Schwarzenegger has sold a bodybuilding drama set in the world of extreme fitness to Showtime.

Titled 'Pump', the 1970s based drama will follow fitness industry and body building culture in a single gym located in California.

If Showtime ends up producing the project, Schwarzenegger will appear in a recurring role as part of the deal.

"We loved it, but I said the only way you can really tell this story is if we can get Arnold involved," says executive producer Eric Tannenbaum.

"The birth of the fitness/bodybuilding revolution can literally be traced back to the days when Arnold arrived in the US."
