Ronda Rousey Campaigns To Play 'Captain Marvel' With Artist Renderings

Ronda Rousey is campaigning to play 'Captain Marvel' and is upping the ante with artist renderings of what she would look like in costume.

The UFC women's bantamweight champion says she would love to play Captain Marvel, the studio's first female-led superhero movie that has no star as of yet but a release date of November 2018.

Rousey, who made a splash this year with roles in 'Expendables 3', 'Furious 7' and 'Entourage', is also starring in a Paramount film based on her autobiography 'My Fight/Your Fight'.

And although she may have the look down, her acting abilities would leave a lot to be desired for Marvel.

Not to mention the studio wouldn't want to take any chances with its first standalone female-led superhero feature.

Other women rumored for the role have been Katee Sackhoff, Yvonne Strahovski (photosYvonne Strahovski photos) and Katheryn Winnick.
