Pierce Brosnan Reveals He Was Once Almost Batman

In an appearance with Jimmy Kimmel, Pierce Brosnan reveals that he was almost Tim Burton's Batman.

"That's kind of in the grey area, if I declined or not," Brosnan says. "But I was hesitant about the whole thing. I couldn't quite get my head around it."

"But I just didn't think it was going to fly. I was naive. I was silly."

Kimmel then suggests it may be interesting to watch Brosnan, who played James Bond before Daniel Craig, play a Bond villain.

"Well, I don't know if they'd want that," says Brosnan.

The pair also had a discussion about Pierce Brosnan's unique name but the actor said he always just wanted to be "Frank."
