Paul Walker's Daughter Sues Porsche Over Fatal Crash

Paul Walker's daughter is suing Porsche for wrongful death, claiming the sports car that her father was in suffered from design defects that led to his death.

The lawsuit filed by Meadow Rain Walker seeks unspecified damages. She claims the design defects trapped the 'Fast and Furious' star in the Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed.

Walker was a passenger in the car when it spun out of control while speeding, hit a tree and burst into flames.

The lawsuit claims the car lacked a proper stability control system, reinforcements, and other safeguards to stop it from catching on fire.

Meadow Walker's says a stability control system wasn't included in the Carrera GT despite being in other models.

"Absent these defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker would be alive today," concludes the 18-page filing.

The lawsuit won't be an easy one to win since the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol concluded in their report that it was unsafe speed (as much as 94 mph) and not mechanical problems that caused the crash.
