Obama Zings Jay Leno, Jokes About Birth Certificate at White House Dinner

Few things in life are harder to find and more important to keep than love.

"Well, love and a birth certificate," Barack Obama quipped at this weekend's White House Correspondents' Association dinner as he poked fun at the birther movement, which questions whether he was born in the United States.

"I happen to know that my approval ratings are still very high in the country of my birth."

"I am glad that only person whose ratings fell more than mine last year is here tonight. Good to see you, Jay," Obama said as he called out the comedian. "I'm also glad that I'm speaking first, because we've all seen what happens when someone takes the timeslot after Leno."

Obama also had a message for the Jonas Brothers, who attended the dinner: "Sasha and Malia are huge fans but, boys, don't be getting any ideas," he warned. "I have two words for you: predator drones."

Jay Leno later returned the favor.

"Some of you in the news have mentioned that the president has been getting a little grey since taking office but he's had his share of stress: tough economy, two wars, healthcare fight, Iran, North Korea, his mother-in-law moving in with him — I think that would break most men," he joked.

He also poked fun that Michelle Obama's fight against child obesity was called "Leave No Child With a Bigger Behind."

"He loves to socialize," he said of the president, "health care and car companies."

"Washington is a very scary place between Republicans going to bondage clubs, the SEC looking at porn — I can't wait to get back to Hollywood, someplace wholesome where people have values," said Leno.

The more than 3,000 guests that attended the annual gala included Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johansson (photosScarlett Johansson photos), Bradley Cooper, Ryan Seacrest, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chevy Chase, Dennis Quaid, the Jonas brothers, Justin Bieber, Jessica Simpson (photosJessica Simpson photos), Michael Douglas, JJ Abrams, Jessica Alba (photosJessica Alba photos), Kate Capshaw, Larry King, Bill Maher and Steven Spielberg.
