Obama To Be Guest On Seinfeld's 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee'

President Barack Obama will be Jerry Seinfeld's first guest when 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' returns for its next season.

As the show's title suggests, all of Seinfeld's past guests have been comedians in one way or another. However, you can't blame Seinfeld for not saying no to the leader of the free world.

It's a tremendous "get" for any talk show, let alone one that only streams online.

The segment was taped earlier this month as pair circled the South Lawn in a 1963 Corvette Stingray split window coupe before chatting over coffee in a basement dining room.

Seinfeld notably sat beside Obama rather than double as a chauffeur, as he often does on the program.

Topics of conversation included life as President, the White House and the lighter side of the presidency.

"Growing up in the '60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut — doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space," says Seinfeld.

"'How did I get here?' 'Is this really happening?' The president's humor and generosity are the only reasons this was even possible. He was so easy and fun to be with."

"Being president and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day."

The Obama episode will be available to stream at 11:30 PM on December 30.
