Nike Makes 'Back to the Future' Self-Lacing Sneakers Reality

Nike is making the self-lacing sneakers from 'Back to the Future' a reality.

The shoe giant has begun auctioning off 1,500 pairs of its new Nike Mag sneakers to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

They are currently going for between $3,500 to $6,000 for a pair.

The shoes were first seen in 'Back to the Future Part II', which was set in 2015. So, in a rare case, a movie creation comes to life before its time.

Although hoverboard or self-drying jackets still seem to a few years away.
