NBC Announces 'Office', 'Heroes' and More Fall Premiere Dates

NBC announced its full fall schedule on Thursday, revealing that most premieres will be split during the weeks of September 14 and September 21.

The network's new nightly 10 PM 'The Jay Leno Show' will debut on September 14, a night after the kickoff of 'Sunday Night Football'.

Strangely, Jay Leno's new show will hit the NBC schedule a week earlier than any other Monday programs which means not only will the show not receive a significant lead-in audience, it will have to stand all on its own in its very first broadcast.

A perplexing move considering low ratings are certain to bring out eager critics almost right away. But that's why NBC is the lowest rated major network.
