'MythBusters' Make Artificial Crap To Test 'Shit Hits The Fan' Myth

Most of us have heard the phrase "When the shit hits the fan."

But have you ever stopped to consider its meaning and whether that was actually possible? Fortunately for us, in their neverending quest for the truth, Jamie and Adam of the Discovery Channel's MythBusters have decided to do exactly that.

Since the real thing could get very messy, Jamie and Adam will create an artificial version that has the same properties as the real thing.

However, to do that they first study and test properties such as the density, compressibility and stickiness of dog crap and how best to fling it at 30 mph with a traditional catapult design.
